Democenter-Sipe Foundation – together with public bodies and business associations – supports projects which do not immediately result in high technology products, but which generate growth in the region toward a culture of innovation, without which the progress of each individual company would be more difficult.

This objective is pursued through activities such as:

• Promotion and dissemination of technologies: Democenter-Sipe Foundation participates in trade exhibitions, events, workshops and conferences and carries out projects with local and business associations to increase the circulation of information on innovative solutions.
• Territorial projects: Democenter-Sipe Foundation participates in community, national and regional projects so that local businesses can also benefit from innovations developed abroad and innovative ideas developed locally can be disseminated in other countries as well.
• Company networks: Democenter-Sipe Foundation supports the creation and strengthening of networks among small and medium-sized enterprises making up the local manufacturing community in order to increase the potential and opportunities of each on the road to innovation.

A lesson of innovation from other companies: the initiative launched in 2010 has seen numerous businesses playing host to other local firms for special days dedicated to in-depth discussion and study.

Quality Center Network
Democenter-Sipe Foundation coordinates the network for innovation in the biomedical industry, which is made up of provincial business associations, the hospital polyclinic and local health unit, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the Provincial Authority and Union of Municipalities of the Province of Modena – Northern Area.
